If it is time to recertificate your Wilderness First Responder course, then this is the course for you. During three comprehensive and practical days, you’ll be brought up to date on the most current information and includes lectures focusing on general review.

This is a three-day (minimum 24-hour) course designed for wilderness first responder recertification. Comprehensive and practical, the program includes lectures focusing on general review and bringing students up to date on the most current information as well as a night exercise. Students must pass the written WFR test and demonstrate adequate skills and knowledge to obtain recertification.

WFR recertification candidates must have passed an approved wilderness first-aid course with at least 60 hours of training within the last three years. Your existing Wilderness First Responder certification needs to be cleared by Bright Bird prior to registration to this course.

Course duration: 3 days, intensive training, night exercise.

Jens has more than a decade of experience as an elite soldier with the Danish Special Operation Forces and as Patrol Leader and instructor with Sirius Dog Sledge Patrol in Northeast Greenland. He has hands-on survival skills and several medic certifications, including ambulance rescue. Jens has also been an instructor in the Armed Forces Medical assistant program.
